Guide

Connect Northpage to your AI app.

Connect the AI app you already use, and you can ask it to read a strategy and change the draft. It can never publish: a person on your team always does that. Each person connects their own account. It takes about two minutes.

Claude

Works on every Claude plan; Free allows one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise, an owner first adds Northpage in Organization settings, Connectors. Everyone else then finds it in Customize, Connectors and clicks Connect.

  1. On claude.ai or in the Claude desktop app, go to Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it Northpage, paste the address and click Continue. Keep the sign-in settings Claude suggests and click Add.
  4. Click Connect. Sign in to Northpage with the code we email you. Choose the workspace, and whether the AI can edit or only read. Click Allow.
  5. In a chat, click +, then Connectors, and switch Northpage on.

On your phone: add it on the web or desktop first. It then works in the Claude app on iPhone and Android too.

ChatGPT

Connectors that can edit are part of ChatGPT Business, Enterprise and Edu, on chatgpt.com in a browser, not the phone app. On those plans a workspace admin or owner adds Northpage and publishes it for the team. Pro can connect but only read. Free and Plus cannot add custom connectors today.

  1. On chatgpt.com, open Plugins.
  2. Select the + button, then Add custom MCP server.
  3. Name it Northpage. Under Connection, paste the address. For authentication, choose OAuth.
  4. Tick I understand and want to continue, then select Create as a plugin. Sign in to Northpage with the code we email you. Choose the workspace, and whether the AI can edit or only read. Click Allow.
  5. Start a new chat, type @ and pick Northpage.

Grok

Custom connectors are open to all Grok users on grok.com. On Grok Business and Enterprise, an admin adds Northpage for the team first. Set it up on grok.com in a browser.

  1. Go to grok.com/connectors.
  2. Click New Connector, then Custom.
  3. Paste the address and continue.
  4. Sign in to Northpage with the code we email you. Choose the workspace, and whether the AI can edit or only read. Click Allow.
  5. Ask Grok about your strategy. It uses Northpage when your question needs it.

Other apps and Claude Code

Any app that can add a remote connector with sign-in can use the same address and the same steps. For Claude Code and for tools that cannot sign in, a workspace owner makes a key instead:

  1. In Northpage, go to Settings, AI assistants, Advanced: connect with a key.
  2. Name the key, choose one client or all, and read only or read and edit. Click New key.
  3. Copy the command it shows and run it in a terminal. The key is shown once; keep it private.

What the AI can and cannot do

  • It can read the clients and strategies you chose, and edit drafts: rewrite a section, add a month, suggest a note for the next version.
  • It can never publish, invite people, change billing or see another workspace. A person always reviews the draft and publishes.
  • Every change it makes shows in the version history, like anyone else’s.

Disconnect

In Northpage, go to Settings, AI assistants, and click Revoke next to the app. It stops at once. You can also remove Northpage from the AI app’s own connector list: in Claude, Customize, Connectors, then Remove.

Steps checked against each app’s own help pages on 2 November 2026. The apps move their menus from time to time. If a name here no longer matches, write to hello@northpage.app and we will fix it.
